[ARCHIVED] Lincoln County Weather Update

The second wave of the winter storm is arriving. This will be recognized as the rain/sleet turns to heavy snow accompanied by some sleet. This will continue through the night and into tomorrow. Temperature is not expected to drop below 31.


Wind will increase this afternoon to 15–20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Accumulations including what has fell will be 3-4 inches in the East, 4-5 inches in the Central and 8-9 inches in the West. Salt solution on the roads may have been washed away by the rain. Some icing is being reported on the small bridges on secondary roads in eastern part of the county.
