[ARCHIVED] Pier and Dock Addressing Signage

Amendments to the current addressing ordinance regarding piers and docks have recently been adopted.

The proper posting of the lakeside address should include both the road name and assigned 9-1-1 address.  In such instances, the lake front address posting will be constructed of a 12x18 sign, blue in color with reflective lettering, and should be placed at the end of the dock or pier, readily visible from the lake.

You can purchase a sign meeting the ordinance requirements from the county.
Please visit our Addressing page to download the dock signage order form or contact David Workman at 704-736-8729 or by email to place your order.
