The City of Lincolnton has notified the Health Department that water service will be temporarily interrupted on Wednesday, July 14, while the City replaces a hydrant on Generals Boulevard.
The water will be turned off at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, July 14. It will remain off until the hydrant is completed. The City does not know how long this replacement will take. Water will be out along Generals Blvd. from Tait Mill Road to Wilma Sigmon Road. Then east on Wilma Sigmon road to Lincoln Meadows.
If it appears to be a lengthy or all-day event, the County will be contacted regarding the Health Department closing early.
