Lincoln County Public Works is pleased to announce that beginning December 1, 2010 a new system will be established to receive our customer’s monthly water and sewer payments.
All payments will need to be sent to the new mailing address on the monthly payment stub. It is important that the payment stub be included with payment to ensure prompt and accurate posting. Failure to enclose a payment stub could result in a delay in the posting of payment to the account.
Payments made through the customer’s bank as “online payments” will now be electronically deposited. All payments must include the new account number to ensure accurate and prompt posting. Failure to include the new account number could result in a delay in posting of the payment to the account and possibly incur a late payment.
It is very important to reference the new account number on all payments submitted.
Also beginning December 1, 2010, Lincoln County Public Works will be offering the option to pay with a debit/credit card through the new system or in person at one of our payment centers. However, at this time no website or telephone payments can be accepted.
