[ARCHIVED] The Art of Storytelling - A Celebration of African American History - April 9, 2011, 10:00 - 3:00 pm

The Arts Council of Lincoln County would like to personally invite everyone to The Art of Storytelling, A Celebration of African American History, April 9, 2011, 10:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Historic Ramsour Mill, 301 Jeb Seagle Drive, Lincolnton, N.C.

Come experience storytelling and music on the cabin porch, and backcountry life skills on the grounds of historic Ramsour Mill. We are very excited to have storyteller Ms. Kitty Wilson-Evans from Historical Brattonsville highlight our event. Ms. Kitty is a nationally recognized storyteller and a local treasure. Featured artists include: Kitty Wilson-Evans, Deacon Jones, Obakunle Akinlana, & Common Knowledge.

This event is free to the public and sponsored by The Arts Council of Lincoln County and NC Arts Council’s Grassroots Grant. The ACLC would like to thank the Lincoln County Historical Association for their support of this event. Please join us to celebrate our community.
