Nancy Sifford Alana, is a descendant of John Sifford who settled in Lincoln County in the early 1800s. She is a retired teacher and principal who resides in Granbury, Texas. She visited Lincolnton in 1989 to learn about the area in which her ancestors once lived. She will be available for book signing after the presentation.
