[ARCHIVED] Arts Council of Lincoln County is offering FREE CLASSES

On Friday, May 17th, 2013, 6:00-9:00 pm, Beth Oczkowski will be our featured artist. She will be leading the class in the craft of Quilling!

Quilling, also known as paper filigree, is an ancient art form dating back to the 15th century or earlier. It is the art of rolling, gluing, and pinching narrow strips of paper into different shapes that are then used to embellish objects or assembled to form framed picture artwork or three dimensional pieces.

Arts Council of Lincoln County will welcome Beth Oczkowski, local artist, to lead an AID Program for students or adults, held in the Rehearsal Hall on the 2nd floor of the Lincoln Cultural Center! Space is limited to 6 participants, so we ask that you PLEASE let us know if you can't attend after you've registered.

This A.I.D. Program (Artists' Interactive Demonstrations Program) is free and open to the public, so we do not want ANY empty seats! If you register, failure to attend without 48 hour notice will mean you cannot reserve space for any A.I.D. Programs the rest of the March-June 2013 season.

For more information, please contact the Arts Council of Lincoln County at(704) 732-9044 or ArtsLincolnNC.org/classes.html This project received support from the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources, with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
