[ARCHIVED] Board of Commissioners Meetings Are Online and on Charter Cable Channel 3

Using technology to promote open government, Lincoln County is now giving citizens the ability to see what happens at the meetings of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners without attending in person.

Lincoln County Commission Chair, Alex Patton, announced that recordings of county board meetings are now available on-demand to the public through the county web site in the Quick Links section, www.lincolncounty.org . The meetings will also be broadcast through Charter Cable channel 3 at 7:pm on the Saturday following each meeting.

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meets the first and third Monday of each month, alternating between Zoning Public Hearings and regular meetings. Typically the broadcast will be available for viewing on the website by the end of the week following the meeting. Links to agendas and documents referenced during the meetings are also on the county website. Currently the July 15th (Regular Meeting) and August 5th (Zoning Public Hearing) broadcasts are available for viewing. The site is compatible with most major browsers and mobile devices.
