[ARCHIVED] NCDOT to Close Ramp for U.S. 321 Improvements

Beginning Monday, March 31, the N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close the Lincoln County ramp from Old U.S. 321 to U.S. 321 southbound as part of a U.S. 321 resurfacing project.

The ramp will close at 9 a.m. while crews mill the old asphalt off the ramp. The ramp will re-open Monday after the work is completed. Crews will close the ramp again Tuesday at 9 a.m. for paving and will reopen the ramp once that paving is completed.

A roughly 2-mile detour will be in place during the road work, and a law enforcement officer will be stationed at the ramp to direct traffic. Motorists will be asked to take Old U.S. 321 to Hardin Road.
