The purpose of the Lincoln County Animal Services Advisory Board is to advise the County Commissioners, County Manager, and Animal Services Supervisor on the organization and operation of the Lincoln County Animal Services Department.
The Advisory Board shall consist of 7 members appointed by the Commissioners. All members MUST reside in Lincoln County. This Board shall include one member from each of the following categories:
- Rural area member (must live in an unincorporated area)
- Veterinarian
- Public Health Board Member or employee recommended by that Board
- Hunter
- Law Enforcement Officer
- Urban area member (must live in an incorporated municipality)
- Member at large
