[ARCHIVED] LINCOLN COUNTY LAND USE PLAN UPDATE – PUBLIC INPUT MEETING

The Lincoln County Planning Department is hosting three public meetings in March to gather
community input on the update of the county’s Future Land Use Plan.

Cambridge Properties, Inc., is requesting the rezoning of 15.3 acres from R-T
(Transitional Residential) to PD-C (Planned Development-Commercial) to permit up to 90,000 square feet of commercial space, including a 50,000-square-foot store, 12,500 square feet of smaller shops, and three outparcels. The property (portions of Parcel ID# 90176 and 34534) is located on the east side of N.C. 16 Business about 1,000 feet north of N.C. 73.

A community involvement meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at the East Lincoln Community Center at 8160 Optimist Club Rd., Denver, N.C., to provide information about the proposal and to receive comments prior to a public hearing.
