[ARCHIVED] National Immunization Awareness Month

We all need shots to help protect us from serious disease. To help keep our community safe, Lincoln County Health Department is proudly participating in National Immunization Awareness Month celebrated in August of each year.

Shots can prevent serious diseases like the flu, measles, and pneumonia. It is important to know which shots you need and when to get them. Everyone age 6 months and older needs to get a flu vaccine every year, unless you have been told by a doctor or nurse not to get the vaccine due to other health concerns.
