Public Forums for the Unified Development Ordinance will be held as drop-in sessions July 21 at West Lincoln High School and July 23 at North Lincoln High School from 4 to 7 p.m.
The Lincoln County Planning and Inspections Department will hold two public information sessions on recommended revisions in the Lincoln County Unified Development Ordinance.
The drop-in sessions will be held July 21 at West Lincoln High School and July 23 at North Lincoln High School from 4 to 7 p.m. Planners will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the new ordinance.
The recommended revisions are the result of a comprehensive review of the ordinance by the Lincoln County Planning Board at the direction of the Board of Commissioners.
The Unified Development Ordinance was adopted in November 2008 but has not been put into effect pending completion of the review process. The ordinance combines zoning, subdivision, watershed and floodplain regulations under one ordinance, and includes new regulations regarding development standards, landscaping, signs and other issues.
