[ARCHIVED] Earth Day Celebration

Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd each year as a day intended to inspire awareness & appreciation for the Earth's natural resources. An Earth Day celebration will be held on Saturday, April 22nd from 11 until 3 downtown Lincolnton.

Visit the Earth Day section to learn more about our natural resources and how to protect them. There will be informational booths as well as crafts and fun activities for the entire family. Each participant will receive a free tree seedling and will be able to register for prizes.  Operation Medicine Drop box sponsored by the Lincoln County Sheriff Department will be available to collect unused and/or expired medicine.  Lincoln County Animal Control will be available to discuss pet adoption. 

Be sure to visit the farmers market section to purchase locally grown products.
