[ARCHIVED] Earth Day Bash - Saturday, April 21st from 10 am until 2 pm

An Earth Day celebration will be held on Saturday, April 21st from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Tractor Supply, 401 N Generals Blvd, Lincolnton.

Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd each year as a day intended to inspire awareness & appreciation for the Earth's natural resources. 

A shred event will be available for Lincoln County residents from 12 pm until 2 pm (or until the truck is full). Residents can safely shred personal documents (limit of 3 document boxes per attendee) for free. Operation Medicine Drop sponsored by the Lincoln County Sheriff Department will be available to collect unused and/or expired medicine.  There will be informational booths as well as crafts and fun activities for the entire family.  Each participant will receive a free tree seedling and will be able to register for prizes.
