Earlier this year, Ingleside in Lincoln County (1817) was donated to PNC to ensure its permanent protection from new development. This generous donation is the largest gift of property PNC has ever received, and we are thrilled to celebrate! Featured in Catherine Bishir’s North Carolina Architecture, it is one of the state’s most significant Federal-style houses.
Just a short drive away, Ingleside in Mecklenburg County (late 1850s) has been purchased by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg HLC to ensure its protection in the rapidly growing area of Huntersville. The fine Italianate country house is likely the only remaining example of its kind in Mecklenburg County.
The tours will last from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Advance tickets are available for purchase from the website linked below. Tickets are $10 per person.
