[ARCHIVED] Earth Day Celebration - Saturday, April 13th from 10 am until 2 pm

An Earth Day celebration will be held on Saturday, April 13th from 10 am until 2 pm at Tractor Supply, 401 N Generals Blvd, Lincolnton.

Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd each year as a day intended to inspire awareness & appreciation for the Earth's natural resources.  

A shred event will be available for Lincoln County residents from 10 am until 1pm (or until the truck is full).  Residents can safely shred personal documents (limit of 3 document boxes per attendee) for free.  The shred event is sponsored by the Local Government Federal Credit Union. 

Operation Medicine Drop sponsored by the Lincoln County Sheriff Department will be available to collect unused and/or expired medicine.

Lincoln County Animal Services will be available to discuss pet adoptions and the services they provide. 

There will be informational booths as well as crafts and fun activities for the entire family.  Each participant will receive a free tree seedling and be able to register for door prizes.
